Inpatient Therapy
Rehabilitation is an essential element of life in all of our nursing homes. We want to restore you to the health you enjoyed before the accident, illness or operation that brought you to our home. In fact, we feel it's our community responsibility to help you get back to your own home as soon as possible.

And once you have recuperated enough to return home, you may be able to continue your rehabilitation as an outpatient, using the same therapist you worked with at the nursing home.

Several types of therapy are available to our residents who need them.

• Physical therapy restores muscle strength and improves coordination, and can even help control or alleviate acute and chronic pain.

• Occupational therapy can help people who've been disabled to re-learn essential life functions like eating, bathing and dressing, as well as ordinary activities such as cooking, doing laundry and playing games.

• Speech therapy can help victims of brain trauma, such as a stroke, to re-train the muscles in the mouth and throat so they can speak and eat properly.

• Respiratory therapy can help residents with breathing impairments to control or lessen their symptoms or complications.

It's never too late to improve your strength. Research indicates there is a direct connection between physical exercise and long-term health. We see improvements in our residents regularly in terms of bone strength, muscle mass, and psychological or emotional health.
