Resident Centered Care
Resident centered care refers to a quality-of-life approach to caregiving—combining the best of the clinical model of skilled nursing care with a flexible, innovative social model of care. This social model allows residents to enjoy more independence, privacy and the ability to choose a lifestyle that suits them.

With the worldwide emergence of new perspectives on eldercare, Beverly has embraced this exciting, family-oriented concept for delivering a more holistic level of care to the elderly. Through Resident Centered Care, we’re transforming institutional skilled nursing facilities and assisted living centers into resident-directed homes.

We believe the elders in our society—and in our care—should continue to experience joyful, meaningful lives as they age. Our Resident Centered Care homes are designed to recognize individuality, ensure our residents’ right to make choices, and enhance each resident’s quality of life.

Residents live happier, fuller lives because they’re able to make more choices and decisions about their lifestyles. Their families enjoy better family relationships by being more involved in care. And employees working in these homes experience a greater degree of participation with the residents.
